I just wanted to say a big well done and thanks to the three organisers, Kate, Paul and Alex. The day went smoothly and delegates had nothing to fret about because all the planning had been done so well. And the atmosphere was also very nice.
    Well done!
    David.

Many thanks for this – I had a great time at the conference, it really was a pleasure, thanks again for inviting me. I’m giving the presentation twice again this term, so it was nice that it had its first airing in such convivial surroundings!

I really enjoyed the conference and learned a great deal about how people in English and allied subjects approach time, so I had a great day. Many congrats on such a successful event.

I had to rush off to catch a train on Friday evening and I didn’t manage to catch you before I went to say thank you for organising the conference. I thought it was a great day – really stimulating and enjoyable and with a very friendly atmosphere. It’s left me with lots to think about and follow up.

Just wanted to say what I great time I had at the conference and I will certainly be stealing all your ideas for my own! Thanks so much to Kate, Alex and Paul – you really showed UEA off and the whole day ran seamlessly with a very high standard of scholarship. I enjoyed the conference, the nice group of participants, the papers, the discussions, the evening out, Norwich, England – everything. You did a great job organising it. I’m thoroughly impressed and hope you are enjoying this great success. And it is all very relevant to my work on Woolf – so thank you.
    best wishes
